Breakdown: The girls' Brown race is set to feature MileSplit50 No. 20 athlete Lydia Russell, who has been stellar through two races, though Bay Shore's (NY) Roshni Singh will bring a challenge as the only other athlete with a sub-18 minute time entering the field. Russell will hope to lead Friends' Central to a team title on a course that has the potential to produce a fast time. Mount De Sales Academy sophomore Juliette Whittaker, a talented sophomore with great track and field credentials, will also feature in this field. Friends' will find a tough battle between Northeastern (PA) and West Grove Avon Grove (PA).
In the boys' Brown race field, meanwhile, Lebanon Cedar Crest (PA) is the projected favorite in the team competition, alongside Lower Merion (PA) and LaSalle College (PA). Charter School of Wilmington's Andrew Avila enters with the field's fastest time, at 15:39.00, while Lower Merion's Joey Litvin has produced an effort of 15:42.00 and Juniata's Garrett Baublitz has run 15:46.17. Eight boys have run faster than 16 minutes in this field.
