Monique Hardy became the only girls athlete in the country to top 100 feet combined in both the shot put and weight throw when she hurled a US No. 1 mark of 62-9.5 in the weight this weekend at the Trent Jackson/Cedric Walker Invitational in Rochester, New York.

The Webster Thomas (NY) High School junior has yet to find a truly big throw in the shot put, but she's well on her way to becoming one of the more versatile throwers in the country in 2019. She's one of nine girls who have combined to throw over 90 feet in both events so far this indoor season.
