Why: He had the second most dominant high school season of a high school boy all-time, scoring a sixth-place finish at the European Championships (5.75 meters) and a sixth-place finish at the U20 Championships (5.40 meters). In the process, he nabbed a national junior record in Norway. He was over 18 feet four times in 2018 and also wasn't a bad 110m hurdler, scoring a best of 14.02 seconds at the CIF Championships -- good for second-place at the CIF Championships.
