- 55m Hurdles: US #4 Breanna Bygrave (7.86 PR); US #3 Marcus Krah (7.30 PR) headline here
- US Top 10 performers in the 55m: Daniel Estrada (US #6 6.29) vs. Cravont Charleston (US #7 6.33) will be one of the best battles of the weekend
- Southeast Raleigh vs. Parkland girls relays: In 4x2, US #10 Southeast Raleigh vs. US #19, defending indoor national champions Parkland; in 4x4, US #4 ranked Southeast Raleigh (pictured) has run 3:49 vs US #10 Parkland (3:55)
- Elly Henes goes for tough 1K/1600m/3200m triple: she resumes 1600m battle with Blair Ramsey after 4:56.52-4:57.64 (US #5-6) finish at David Oliver; 1K features fellow 2:58 performer Taylor Delaney, plus defending 800m state champion G'Jasmyne Butler; both Henes and Sara Platek have run 10:33 for 3200m
- Ky-Mani Dula goes for 500m and 300m (US #12 ranked) double
- US #11 ranked Connor Peeples (2:29) is the favorite in the 1K, but will get plenty of competition from Green Hope teammates Jayquan Williams and Henry Pehr, who have both run 2:31
- Girls 300m has three under 40 seconds: US #13 Charla Ward, plus Tamara Clark, Breanne Bygrave
- US #2 McKinley McNeill and US #5 Kleo Torres bring the Parkland vs. Southeast Raleigh rivalry to the individual events in the Girls 500m
