Notable Races:

Section #119After leading the entire race, Northern Highlands was walked down by Pleasantville in the last 120 meters. It was a close race the entire way between the two New Jersey teams, leaving Pleasantville to take it in 4:10.38.  

Section #124- A quick time from Metuchen (NJ) with a 4:03.84.

Section #125- Another fast time from Digital Harbor of Baltimore, MD: 4:00.25, the fastest of the day!

Section #126- Boonsboro (MD) comes from behind with a big anchor leg to win in a solid time: 4:03.47. 

Section #128- Wise (MD) opens up with a quick 58.xx, and stays strong, leading wire-to-wire for the win in 4:00.90. 

Section #129- The Queen's School of Jamaica tok control during the second leg, continuing on to win in the first sub-4:00 time of the day, 3:59.90!

Section #130- Cranking out lots of times in the 4:00 range now, as C.H. Flowers takes that heat in 4:01.61.

Section #133- Piscataway (4:01.42), Hempfield (4:01.52), and River Baptist (4:01.74) went one, two, three in the tightest race so far today. River Baptist let go of a strong lead to place third.

Section #134- Douglas MacArthur of Levittown, NY is our second team to go sub-4:00 comfortably outrunning the field in a time of 3:59.15. 

Section #135- Hillsborough (NJ) raised the bar by posting the fastest time of the day thus far in 3:58.17.

Section #136- Another top time comes out of this section with Phoebus (VA) running a time of 3:56.72. 

Section #137- Nansemond (VA) ran a 3:53.77 with Osbourn Park (VA) close on their heels in 3:54.42. Kiana Hairston of Osbourn Park anchored in a split of 55.07.

Section #141- An amazing race between a number of Jamaican teams. Holmwood Tech crossed the line first in 3:41.63 followed closely by St. Jago in 3:42.48. St. Elizabeth Tech placed third in 3:44.61. Fourth was taken by Woodbridge (VA) 3:49.79. 

Section #142- Long Beach Poly posted a time of 3:45.20 followed by Columbia (NJ) in 3:45.74. The highlight of the race was Olivia Baker, Columbia's anchor, who ran a split of 52.93, the fastest of the day. 

Section #144- Edwin Allen ran their own race posting the overall fastest time of the day in 3:41.29. Monique Spencer, their second leg, split a blazing 53.27.

Section #146- Springside broke the Girl's Prep School meet record running a time of 3:58.40. The previous meet record was set by William Penn Charter in 2008 (3:59.49).

Section #148- Strath Haven outlasted Penncrest for the win running a time of 3:53.30. They also stole the meet record from Penncrest who set the standard back in 1997 (3:55.53).
