Small Schools:

Holmwood Tech, St. Jago, and Hydel, all hailing from Jamaica, fulfilled their expectations by going first, second, and third, respectively. Holmwood Tech posted a finshing time of 46.70 while St. Jago was close behind in 47.15. Hydel was right on their heels in 47.22

Large Schools:

Edwin Allen (JAM) of heat 5 took the overall win of the day in 45.66. Edwin Allen came into today with the fastest qualifying time of 43.95 which they ran at the UTech classic two weeks ago. Long Beach Poly took second in 46.50 from heat 12. Long Beach Poly took the wheel in both 2011 and 2012. Look for big things from these two teams in the final, which is at 2:15PM tomorrow (Event #343).
