Analysis: Lane was a beast in 2017, winning her second straight Foot Locker Nationals Championships at Balboa Park, her second straight NXR Foot Locker West title and her second straight CIF Division I Championship, with a course record of 16:30.30 at Woodward Park. She also set a Mt. SAC course record of 15:49.00, and won the TCAA Cluster and the Lake Casitas Twilight Invitational.
This season is sure to continue in that trend for Lane, who's vying for an even greater legacy -- no one has won three straight Foot Locker National championships.
