Year: Senior, Class of 2019

School: Greencastle (IN)

Analysis: Wilson made quite the statement in 2018. And while it's sometimes hard to evaluate state success at the national level, Wilson did a good job proving that it's all about how you compete. She ran seven races under 18 minutes in 2017, with her personal best time of 17:29.94 coming at the Western Indiana Conference Championships in September, but her best efforts all came in big moments. 

She won sections, regions, semi-state and Indiana's state championship on her way to the NXR Midwest, where she finished second overall in 17:33.90. That effort qualified her for NXN, where she was an All-American in 14th place. In 2018, Wilson will hope to cap her career in Indiana in much the same fashion, perhaps dropping even more time in the process.
