The Weekend Rundown: Big Names Shine Bright At Roy Griak Invitational

Carter Cheeseman Keller HS Invitational King


Carter Cheeseman from Fort Worth Christian in Texas continues to tear it up. Cheeseman won the Keller Invitational running an impressive 14:42  3.1-miles. This is the first time the junior has broken 15 minutes in his career. 

Cheeseman was on the Brentwood Academy (TN) team but is now runs for Fort Worth Christian School after moving this year. Now in Texas, he's won his first two meets. 

The team title was taken by Keller Timber Creek with 31 points. 

On the girls side, Brynn Brown took the win by running 18:01, while the Keller Timber ladies also took home the team win scoring 75 points. 

The home team Keller Indians, ranked Flo50 No. 3, sat their top runners in preparation for the Chile Pepper Festival in Fayetteville, Arkansas next, weekend. They ended up finishing fifth.
