Victoria Findley And Victor Mugeche Blow Away The Field At Rim Rock High School XC Classic
Two of the favorites at the Rim Rock Classic took home wins on Saturday morning at Rim Rock Farm in Lawrence, Kansas.
In the guys race, Blue Springs's Victor Mugeche took the win over Harrison Scudamore from Denver East. Mugeche ran 16:28.30 to take his third win of the season. The boys team battle was also won by Blue Springs who went 1, 5, 28, 44, and 73, scoring 151 points to take the win over Rockhurst (155). The guys had a 16:21.62 average.
The girls individual race was definitively won by Blue Springs South's Victoria Findley, who ran 18:12. The team battle on the girls side was won by the ladies from Lenexa Saint James Academy, who scored 144 points to outscore Millard West by five points (149).
