Quote: "Frustration is the first step towards improvement. I have no incentive to improve if I'm content with what I can do and if I'm completely satisfied with my pace, distance and form as a runner. It's only when I face frustration and use it to fuel my dedication that I feel myself moving forwards."
John Bingham
So I am not really frustrated...but I am definitely not "content" or "satisfied," which really is a factor in what drives me. I always say that as runners, we are sometimes happy with certain races, but never satisfied. I am just really anxious to finally have a good SEASON. I have been staying really patient, but still frustrated at times. I am looking forward to actually having a couple solid, CONSISTENT races. I know it will come around, I believe in it and I am working torwards it so I know it will happen, I am just anxious when. I really hope things start coming together this track season. I am really motivated right now so that is a big first step....Now for a lot of hard work and workouts. I am ready to sacrifice and to suffer more!!! I have incentive to DEDICATE myself to move forward! I am so excited to start next week because I feel like this week I was still just getting back into the swing of things again.
