RE-MOTIVATED

Even though the weather was crappy here compared to Portugal, I still am so excited to go out there every day and run. Right before Portugal, I always had to drag myself to go on a run and it was just going through the phyiscal motions without any type of mental motivation at all. I had to mentally motivate myself to get out there, but then once out, I just closed my brain... Right now it is so great to go out for a run and I truly enjoy every minute of it. I think the training camp was good, not only for physical reasons and being able to do real track workouts, but mostly for our heads! We often ignore the mental part of even regular runs and I think that as a whole, if our moods are better towards our training, then it just makes it a lot easier and motivates us to work harder...

CRAPPITYCRAP.

So I am sick...AGAIN! I often have problems when I switch climates so fast...what a bummer and very bad timing, but there is not much I can do. I took off the afternoon, am not running tomorrow and just going to spend my time drinking tea, taking vitamin C, concentrate on eating right, and resting. Stupid body. Oh well. I have to take things as they come...and another damn cold is HERE.
