Patience. Patience. Training will pay off in the long run. BIG PICTURE. I have to believe that all this work this year or in the next two years will blow up and taht I will really have a break through year in the next 5 years!!!...Thinking in terms of this many years is difficult since we as runners would like quick results, but we have to stay patient and not get discouraged. I am a bit negative after my race and down on myself...I have been running good workouts, but i just didn't feel right in my race. I felt sick beforehand and then once the gun went off, I just tried to stay mentally in the race because my body was surely out of it!.... i feel like I am in a lot better shape than what I ran in this race. As far as World's go....Well, I basically have to run really, really, extremely well at Swiss Championships when I come back from Portugal...I just have to believe in myself and use this training camp in Portugal over the next two weeks to build my confidence up, clear my head of this race, look forward, and get some solid training and solid miles in. IT WILL come together....To use Luci and Claud's favorite quote....believe, believe, believe...
