Summary: Day 1: The women's 3k was the only event of the night, and the US made the msot of it! Jordan Hasay was 9th and Emily Sisson was 10th. Hasay finished in 9:15.78 while Sisson scored a US#8 All-Time 9:16.80. Mercy Cherono, Kenya, won her 2nd consecutive title with a time of 8:55.07.
Day 2: The junior Decathlon started to day with the 100 dash and Kevin Lazas (Sr., Brentwood, TN) finished 4th with a run time of 11.26. Shelby Greany (Providence, NY) moves on in the 300 steeplechase with a qualifying time of 10:18.74. Eleanor Fulton, (Jr., Highlands Ranch, CO.) had a huge PR (10:25.89) in the steeplechase and will join Greeny. Allison Updike (Jr., Penn) qualified in the Javelin on her final throw! Brittany Smith (Illinois) auto qualified in the shot put after throwing a 15.84 on her first throw. Ajee Wilson (So., Netpune, NJ) took 2nd in her heat in the 800 meter run with a 2:05.94. Wilson moves on to the next round with Laura Roesler (Fargo, ND) who qualified with a time of 2:08.17.
In the afternoon seesion Parker Stinson (TX) finished 6th in the 10,000 meters with a time of 29:32.23 giving him a best ever finish by an American. Brittany Smith took 7th in the shot put finals with a throw of 15.47 meters. Ahston Purvis, (Sr., CA) advanced to the next round by winning her heat in the 100 dash (11.73) after a stumble out of the blocks. Josh Mance, (CA) won his heat in the 400 with an easy 47.29.

Day 3: Emily Sisson came off her amazing 3k performance to stun once again with a National Record in the 5000 meters with a time of 15:48.91 to place 6th!! Junior Nicholas Vena (Morristown, NJ) will move on to the next round in the shot put. Vena had the second best mark of the day with an auto qualifying 19.90. Ajee Wilson (NJ), qualified for the finals in the 800 meter run. Wilson finished 3rd in her heat but her time was .01 faster than US teammate Laura Roeler (ND), bumping her from the finals. Justin Hunter (VA), was 6th in the mens Long Jump with a leap of 24-6.25.
Ashton Purvis (CA) won her heat in the 100 meter semi finals and will advance to the finals. Her time of 11.68 was the second fastest time tied with Germany's Tatjana Pinto and Great Britains Jodie Williams. With a smile on his face Josh Mance (CA) again crossed the finish line first in his heat in the 400 meter semi finals with a time of 46.43. Evonne Britton (TX) won her heat in the 100 hurdles with a 13.58 and will be moving on to the finals.
Day 4: Ajee Wilson finished an impressive 4th in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:04.18.
Day 5: David Smith finished an impressive 2nd to earn the Silver medal with a leap of 2.24 meters (7-04.25). Clemson frosh Stormy Kendrick rolled to gold in the 200m with a blazing 22.99. Ashton Purvis finished 5th with a time of 23.62. The USA Men and Women are the fastest qualifiers in the 4x100 meter relays with respective times of 39.69 and 43.56.
Day 6: The United States women won the 4x100 relay with a time of 43.33 over Jamaica while the men also bested Jamaica with a time of 38.93. Trevor Dunbar finished 11th in the 5000 meter run with a time of 14:16.08. Evonne Britton finished 3rd in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 57.32.
Final Day: Jordan Hasay, Oregon, finished 4th in the 1500 meter run with a time of 4:13.95. Jared Berman, VIrginia Tech, broke 9 with an 8:57.53 clocking in the 3000 meter steeplechase with a placing of 10th. Conor McCullough won the Hammer throw with a toss of 80.79. Justin Welch was 10th with a throw of 67.20. Freshmen Casimir Loxsum and Robby Andrews were 2nd and 3rd in the 800 with respective times of 1:46.57 and 1:47.00. Team USA women rolled in the 4x400 with a winning time of 3:31.20, a world-leading time. Team USA men completed the relay sweep with a dominating 3:04.76 win! Omar Craddock finished 3rd in the men's triple jump with a leap of 16.23 meters (53-03.00). Marquis Dendy, DE, had a solid performance, finishing 8th with a jump of 15.53 meters (50-11.50).
