The Brooks XC West Championship is quickly approaching. Slated for November 29th at the Mt. Sac Cross Country course in Walnut, California, the top runners in the West will clash for a coveted regional championship title and a qualifying spot at the Brooks XC National Championships in San Diego on December 13.

The West tightened even further this week, with another wave of sub-14:35 performances reaffirming that no region in the country matches its firepower. Jackson Spencer may be the headline, but the real intrigue lies in how many states can now challenge him.
