The Brooks XC South Championship is quickly approaching. Slated for November 29th at McAlpine Park in Charlotte, North Carolina, the top runners in the South will clash for a coveted regional championship title and a qualifying spot at the Brooks XC National Championships in San Diego on December 13.

The latest Brooks XC South rankings show just how deep the region has become - and how thin the margin is up front. Texas still headlines the list, but the gap is small. Ponca City freshman Adam King (OK) and homeschool standout Graham Hummel (TX) both clocked blazing 14:29s, joining Caden Leonard at the top. With three athletes within a half-second of each other, the race for South supremacy is wide open.
