Following this weekend's Idaho High School State XC Championships, the Gem State is holding it down at the top of this week's junior class rankings with three runners ranked inside the top 10.
Wyatt Carr finished 2nd in his classification's championship race on Saturday and is now sitting atop the charts, having run 14:31.30 over 5,000m. Jonas Porter was not far behind in 4th, while Ethan Hansen ran away with a state title in another classification, running a 14:51.10.
Michigan has two runners ranked in the top 10 following their state meet as well. Kamari Ronfeldt and Brandon Cloud were under 15:00 over the weekend and are two more runners from the Class of 2027 to keep an eye on.
