Although there haven't been any national records on the mid-distance side of things this season, athletes from coast to coast have been rewriting the record books every single week.

At the 117th Millrose Games, ProCaliber Track Club's (Calif.) Makenna Herbst became the fifth-fastest high schooler over 600m after running 1:28.61, making her just the 14th girl to ever break 1:30.

In the 800m and 1000m, Onsted's (Mich.) Emmry Ross and Bayport-Blue Point's (N.Y.) Sophia McInnes have both moved into the all-time top-10, with Ross jumping to No. 8 in U.S. history after running 2:03.95 at The Circuit: NYC.

McInnes improved to No. 8 all-time in the 1000m, clocking 2:44.18 at the NYSPHSAA NY State Champs last weekend.
