Today, COROS announced that it is rolling out a new initiative for Black Friday this year that redefines the season of giving. From November 29th to December 3rd, COROS will donate 5% of all proceeds from direct sales on coros.com to the Eliud Kipchoge Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing education and environmental sustainability for the next generation.
The Eliud Kipchoge Foundation, founded in 2020, has a mission to provide better access to education, specifically in underserved communities. This Black Friday initiative with COROS will support plans to build a library in 2025.
"Growing up in Kenya, I know that access to books and knowledge is not always available to everyone," says Eliud Kipchoge, legendary Olympian and founder of the Eliud Kipchoge Foundation. "Libraries open doors to endless possibilities. By building more, we extend knowledge and create lasting change."
This new library will be the second that the Foundation has built. It will have a goal of providing a safe community space for young people to gather and grow. COROS customers will have a direct impact in fostering educational empowerment.
