We are just over six weeks out from the conclusion of the 2024 high school cross country season, but athletes are already dropping the hammer.

As we get deeper into the postseason, high school boys from coast to coast are moving up the national rankings.

Following his win at the Organ Mountain Rob Winter Classic, Organ Mountain (N.M.) senior Corbin Coombs clocked 14:30.5 in his jaw-dropping win to stay at No. 1.

Summit's (Ore.) Hayden Boaz and Southlake-Carrol's (Texas) Caden Leonard maintained their spots at No. 2 and No. 3, respectively, both notching strong wins earlier this month.

Both newcomers from a week ago held firm at No. 4 and No. 5, as Kammiakin's (Wash.) Ezra Teeples and Parkview Baptist's (La.) Aiden Monistere fill out the top five.
