A superstar group of rising junior girls have achieved some ridiculous heights heading into the fall 2024 cross country season.
There's the reigning Foot Locker Nationals champion Elizabeth Leachman, who has the fastest combined cross country 5K and outdoor 3,200m mark across seasons with a combined time of 25:51.34. She's the only girl in our top 500 list that's under 26 minutes.
Then there's the reigning Nike Cross Nationals winner Addison Ritzenhein, who has clocked a combined total of 26:53.94. She's only one of two -- Leachman being the other -- girls who has produced a time under 27 minutes across both disciplines.
And yet, with two seasons left for these talented ladies, there's plenty of time left to shine. The likes of Macy Wingard, Chiara Dailey, Jaelyn Williams, Libby Dowty and Ryin Miller are already leaving their marks.
