The Big 12 has been one of college track and field's premier conferences since it began competition in 1996. Today, its 16-member lineup stretches from Arizona to West Virginia and consistently produces NCAA champions, Olympians and some of the nation's best athletes. So what does it actually take to compete there?

For the first edition of
Recruiting by the Numbers, we matched every athlete who competed for a Big 12 program this outdoor season back to their high school career on MileSplit. Event by event, you can see what today's Big 12 athletes ran, jumped or threw before college as well as how much they've improved since.

How do your PRs stack up? Compare them to every Big 12 athlete and see if you have what it takes to compete in one of the nation's top conferences.
