Here's a simple question. Which pole vaulters in the U.S. are the fastest?
We decided to take a look at the top pole vaulters in the country who have also run a 60m this season.
On the boys side, Sloan Jones of Fayetteville (AR) has cleared 12-6, as well as clocking 6.92 over 60m. The top pole vaulter in the country, Bryce Barkdull of Andover Central (KS), has cleared 17-6.75 and run 7.36.
Kearney Catholic (NE) sophomore Alyssa Onnen leads the way for girls, clearing 12-5.5 and running 8.05 in the 60m.
The best vaulter on the list, Biloxi's (MS) Julie Segroves, has the No. 12 mark in the country and has also run 8.33 in the 60m.
