We are three days out from the Millrose Games, one of the country's most prestigious indoor meets. And on Sunday in New York City, the boys 600 meter championship is among the top draws.
It will feature a selection of the nation's top sprint and middle-distance talents.
Among the competitors will be Allen High School junior Jonathan Simms, a World U18 record-holder at the 400 meter distance. The Dallas area prep is considered one of the country's finest recruits and is coming off a Texas state championship in the 400m to go along with a record-breaking performance at the AAU Junior Olympic Games.
MileSplit was in Dallas recently to catch up with the high schooler. Check out the first of two videos we'll produce on Simms -- the other was a track workout.
