Which brings us to the San Antonio Swift Track Club boys, who grabbed a U.S. No. 1 time of 7:46.33 at the Arkansas Invitational.
The quartet of mid-distance studs, including Jorge Vargas, Chris Harris, Todd Worth and Mason Wokoma pulled away from the field by quite a bit, en route to a new meet record and the 39th-fastest mark of all-time.
The boys were the only ones to break 8:00, making them one of two to do so this season.
