Over the last two months, nearly 450 athletes have left their 2023 mark in the dust, already recording a new PR this winter.
So far, two athletes stand out amongst the rest, as Oleksandr Matyiuk and Tylar Johnson are the biggest jumpers from last year.
Out of Solvay (NY), Matyiuk already lowered his previous mark by just under 15 seconds, clocking 1:28.87 at the John Arcaro Memorial meet.
Johnson, a junior at West Half Hollow Hills (NY) improved all the way from 2:03.07 to 1:46.97, a whopping 16 second drop.
