Bullis School (MD) has been known for building its powerhouse sprint programs over the last several years.

At the 2019 VA Showcase, Bullis rewrote the record books in the 4x200m. The previous record stood for 14 years but Ashton Allen, Jay Pendarvis Jr., Andre Turay, and Ryan Willie came together to make magic happen at Liberty University's indoor facility.

Willie anchored the squad home to a victory and lowered the record from 1:26:09, which was held by Long Beach Poly (CA), to 1:25.60.

The record still stands today, but Archbishop Caroll (DC) came within three-hundredths of a second of the mark at adidas Track Nationals last year when they ran the No. 2 all-time performance of 1:25.63.

The programs from Maryland and Virginia are the only two teams to run under 1:26 in the event.

At the same meet, Bullis boys broke the national record in the 4x400 with a 3:12.53. Similiar to the 4x200m, the record still stands today.
