Time flies, and Nike Cross Nationals is on Dec. 2.

We thought it would be fitting to celebrate Katelyn Tuohy once again after the NC State junior helped the Wolfpack to their third-straight NCAA title on Nov. 18.

Four years ago, the former North Rockland star made NXN history for the third time.

In 2017, Tuohy put down a sophomore meet record of 16:44.70, earning her first national cross country title. The next year, Tuohy claimed a new course record, which still stands today at 16:37.80.

Finally, in 2019, she took her final bow as the first athlete to win NXN three consecutive times.

The North Rockland legend showed her strength and perseverance as she trudged through mud and pouring rain at Glendoveer Golf course that December.

Tuohy narrowly held off her challengers as she grasped her third win over Taylor Ewert and Sydney Thorvaldson.

Check out her post-race interview from that day.
