One of the nation's most competitive events this season continues to excite.

In a back-and-forth season that has seen the US No. 1 boys pole vault performance shift quite regularly, yet another athlete takes over the lead.

Wyatt Stewart, the senior out of Madison Central (KY), became the latest boy to surge to the top of the pole vault leaderboards with a 17-2.25 clearance for the win in Louisville on Saturday.

For the South Dakota signee, it was his first time clearing over 17 feet in 2023, and he surpassed his previous meet record of 17-2 set last year. It also eclipses the previous US No. 1 mark of 17-2 from Scottsboro's (AL) Maddox Hamm.

He and Hamm are also the only two vaulters to reach a clearance of 17-0 or higher at this point in the season.

Other impressive performances came out of the Louisville Indoor Games as well, including a stellar sweep of the women's 800m and mile by Oldham County (KY) junior Tula Fawbush in 2:16.92 and 4:57.43, along with a 400m win in 47.97 for top 600m racer Andrew Regnier of Milwaukee Speed Academy.

And in the sprints, one of the top highlights came from ATA Ignite's (IN) Jasiah Rogers, who clocked a PR of 6.85 in the 60m to rank among the top 40 performances in the country so far this season.
