Brody Buffington put on a show at the Liberty Christmas High School Invitational on Dec. 17 -- and that earned him a place in the national spotlight.

A nation-leading performance of 6.28 in the 55m helped Buffington to a win in the event in a tightly-contested race, finishing just a hundredth of a second ahead of Antwan Hughes Jr in second.

That US No. 1 showing also earned Buffington another win, this time coming in last week's National Boys Performer Of The Week poll.

The Catoctin (MD) senior earned 40-percent of the vote to take home the award.

Now, looking back at the past holiday week, there was plenty of track and field action that went down around the country, including some nationally-ranked performances.

Who earns your vote for the week three performer award on the boys side?
