It was a weekend fit for champions.
Three cross country championships -- two national title-races and one regional -- took place over that stretch in Alabama, Oregon and California.
Newbury Park (CA) senior Aaron Sahlman and Albuquerque Sandia (NM) senior Steven West were crowned as champions, while Woods Cross' Sam Hansen and Ventura's Sadie Engelhardt booked their tickets to Champs Sports Nationals on Dec. 10 in San Diego.
