Last week, it was one of the nation's most consistent athletes who took home his first performer of the week honor of the cross country season.

Gathering 45-percent of the vote, Hunter Jones of Benzie Central (MI) earned the week six performer honor. Jones, ranked fifth on the MileSplit50 individual boys list, clocked 14:37 for 5k to win the Portage XC Invitational on Oct. 8, making for an impressive seventh-straight win on the season.

Charlie Ortmans, The Potomac School (VA): Clocked a Pole Green Park 5k course record of 14:40.00 to win the MileStat.com Invitational, good for a 192 speed rating and a new US No. 12 mark.

Tyrone Gorze, Crater (OR): Won the Crater Track Twilight meet with a time of 14:11.38 for a mid-season track 5k.

Noah Breker, Robbinsdale Armstrong (MN): Earned his fifth-straight win of the season with his 15:27.90 performance at the Northwest Suburban Conference Championships, which also made for a 191 speed rating.

Daniel Simmons, American Fork (UT): Won the Utah 6A Section B Divisional in 15:21.60 for a 190 speed rating, helping American Fork to a team win in the process.

Joe Sapone, Holy Innocents' Episcopal School (GA): Earned the individual title at the Coach Wood Invitational with a new 5k PR of 14:56.52.

Sean Morello, Albany (CA): Won the Moreau (Phil Wilder) Invitational with his time of 14:28.70 for 5k, making for a significant personal best and a new US Top-10 mark.
