When you break a course record at a historic meet, it's a performance that's certain to draw some attention.

And for Hatboro Horsham senior Brian DiCola, that propelled him to a National Boys Performer Of The Week honor.

Behind his 14:43.20 5k win at the Lehigh Paul Short Run -- breaking Gary Martin's year-old 14:49 course record in the process -- DiCola overwhelmingly took the victory in the season's fifth performer of the week poll, earning 65-percent of the vote.

The week six poll features some notable names as many of the nation's best boys took to the line at high-profile, anticipated invitational meets.
