The McQuaid Invitational featured a top battle between Bethlehem Central (NY) and Cicero-North Syracuse (NY).
These girls will face each other once again.
It was a close finish last weekend, but Bethlehem Central scored 48 points to CNS' 66.
The Bethlehem Central squad contains a leader with a young team that finished all five scoring runners in the top 15. Rylee Davis paved the way last weekend with a fourth-place finish to help Charlotte O'Meara, Katherine Bannigan, Liv Pachter, and eighth-grader Anna Chrapowitzky to the title in an 18:13 average and a nearly 45-second spread.
Kate Putman, Gabby Putman and Hannah Boyle of CNS led the team to 1-5-7-17-40 finish.
CNS can challenge Bethlehem Central to a title if the girls can shrink the spread between the top five runners.
