Texas-based Xpress Track Club put all the pieces together on Saturday in the finals of the 4x100 at the AAU Junior Olympic Games.

The 8 and under girls team finished in style -- notably, bright pink socks -- with a new AAU national age category record of 59.08. The previous record of 59.33 stood for a year by My Sister's Keeper TC.

Not only was the time impressive, but the anchor, Brooklyn Jimison, had a celebration that was inspired by World Champion Twanisha Terry

During the post-race interview with MileSplit, Xpress shared their excitement on breaking the record and being gold medalists.
