The arduous task of entering high school won't be much of a problem for these athletes.
Among the most accomplished eighth-graders in the country last year is a boys athlete with tantalizing potential in Tennessee, another with strong familial ties in Colorado, two girls with sub-18 performances on their records and another with a state championship on her resume from South Dakota.
While it's unfair to predict just what may happen to any athlete this far out from graduation, some young athletes have shown immense potential already.
