WATCH: Shawnti Jackson Cruises Into 200m Finals At AAU Club

In preparation for the World U20 Championships in Cali, Colombia in August, Wakefield's (NC) Shawnti Jackson put in some light work at the AAU Club Championships on Wednesday in Orlando, serving up a time of 24.25 seconds in the semifinals of the 200m at the AAU Club Championships.

Just how good did she look?

With about 10 meters to go, Jackson cruised into the line -- and she still nearly broke 24 seconds.

Just weeks ago, the Raleigh, North Carolina native qualified for World U20s in the 100m, where she ran one of the fastest FAT all conditions ever at USA Juniors, going 11.07w (+2.7) -- fourth best all-time.

The World U20 Championships will take place from August 1-6 in Santiago de Cali, Colombia, at Pascual Guerrero Olympic Stadium. Jackson, competing on her first World stage, has a chance to win her first global medal at the age of 17.
