Year: 2024

Event: 200m, 400m

When and Where: University of South Carolina Indoor Open

Performance: One year after recording a phenomenal freshman season, Hodge has done quite nicely as a sophomore, logging personal best after personal best across the 2022 indoor campaign.

Before this weekend, Hodge owned a 60m best of 7.51 (U.S. No. 18) and a LJ mark of 18-7.25 (U.S. No. 38).

Of course, she had more left in the tank. Hodge clocked new career indoor bests of 24.30 in 200m and 54.30 in the 400m, raising her national profiles in those events to U.S. No. 15 and U.S. No. 2, respectively.

Her 400m speed isn't so surprising. Hodge finished off her freshman outdoor season with a top 20 mark of 53.81. It was a time that led the freshman class and ranked No. 26 in freshman class history.
