Indoors?
This past week Kovacs shaped up a rather impressive 1K in a dual meet, shelling out a time of 2:29.40 for a U.S. No. 4 performance. The barrier for entry into an elite standard is often 2:30 at this distance. Kovacs produced that result in his first attempt ...in a dual. What's more, he's got the whole season in front of him.
