It's never too early to see where the country stacks up. 

And since the cross country season has begun in earnest over the last few weeks, we're going to reveal over the coming weeks just how each class is measuring up. 

First up, we rank just where the Class of 2022 stands in the 5K and 3-mile this fall. Keep in mind: These rankings are only as good as the previous week. As each week unfolds, more performances will dote the upper ranks and reorder the national pecking order.
