THE SOUTHERN SHOWCASE
Note: Registration is closed for teams and individuals, though special cases will be considered for nationally ranked individuals who register within the next week.
MileSplit will be on-site from September 17-18 for the 2021 Southern Showcase, one of the South's premier regular season cross country invitationals.
Hosted by Huntsville (AL) High School at the historically fast John Hunt Park in Huntsville, Alabama, runners from across the south and southeast will compete for season best performances and team wins across various races at the 5K distance.
A year ago, five boys runners broke 15:30 on the course while two girls broke 18 minutes and eight more went under 19 minutes.
The event will take place over two days and will feature 11 races, including championship sections on Saturday morning.
Friday's schedule will include a variety of freshman and junior high races. Saturday's schedule will focus on junior varsity and varsity action.
