For The Record: Bethany Michalak Reflects On Freshman Season


On the latest For The Record interview, Olivia sat down with Bethany Michalak who embraced her freshman year at Air Academy (CO). Last year, she became the Colorado 4A cross country state champion and she also finished fourth at the AAU National Cross Country Championship. She also was the only freshman to finish in the top 10 at that meet.

She had to overcome a shin injury during the outdoor season. She took some time to recover and began cross country training in early August. Michalak reflected on her freshman season and she shared what she's looking forward to this upcoming year.
