Texas Teammates Duel To 4:46 1600m
On last week's episode of On The Line, we talked about one of the nation's top distance duos: Nease (FL) High School's Rheinhardt Harrison and Bradley Anderson Ball.
But we have another duo who we can't forget about either at Katy Cinco Ranch (TX): Sophie Atkinson and Heidi Nielson.
At the pair's area meet, the two dueled to a 4:46.38 and a 4:46.38, respectively, in the 1,600m.
Their times currently rank them seventh and eighth in the nation and second and third in the state of Texas. The duo are now only behind Denton Guyer's Bryn Brown for the distance.
