We've looked at most of the top 500 athletes in the various track events, so now we will turn our attention to the top 500 athletes in the throws.
One of the nation's top throwers on the boys side is Katy Taylor's (TX) Bryce Foster. The senior holds the nation's top throw in the discus with his 200 foot 10.5-inch throw from the Katy ISD Bubba Fife Relays. He is the only athlete this year to throw over 200 feet in the discus. Foster also holds the third-best shot put mark in the nation with his throw of 64-7.25.
One of the top female throwers in the nation is Timber Creek High School's (FL) Sydney Lake. The Kennesaw State signee has thrown all four implements this season and has US Top 20 performances in the discus and the hammer throw. She ranks US No. 19 in the discus with a throw of 145-11.5 and US No. 5 in the hammer throw with a mark of 166-9.
