We know it has been a strange year with several states having shortened seasons or unable to compete at all but we wanted to find out; for those who were able to run this fall who was able to improve?  

One athlete who made major improvements from 2019-2020 is Archbishop Wood's (PA), Gary Martin. The junior had some big accomplishments this season including; a win at the Class AA PIAA State meet and a 24th place finish at the RunningLane National Championships. Martin's time of 14:52.54 at the RunningLane National Championships was a 1:53.16 improvement over his 2019 best 5k performance.
