Stanford Commit Camille Peisner Talks About Goals & Decision

Valor Christian's (CO) Camille Peisner announced her commitment to Stanford to continue her athletic and academic career. As Peisner reflected on her recruiting journey, she was grateful for the opportunity to compete safely in a few meets around the country to focus on her sprint mechanics during the 2020 outdoor season. According to Peisner, her post-race interviews helped her future coaches see her personality. Since the outdoor season, zoom calls were made between her and the Stanford coaches and the "stalking" of her future teammates painted the picture that the California school would be her next home. After rating herself an A- on her performances during the pandemic, her eyes are set on earning another state title and winning an individual accolade.

Peisner set season bests in the 100m, 200m and 400m this outdoor season by running 12.37, 24.49 and 57.17 respectively.
