Needing a combination of 400m speed and hurdle technique, long hurdlers are some of the most versatile athletes in track and field. 

We've compiled the top returning athletes at both the 300mH distance -- which nearly all state associations in the U.S. compete in -- as well as the 400mH, a distance not often run at the high school level, though which elevates as a collegiate and Olympic event.
