Boston University Last Chance Invitational womens 800m.

We looked to see who the top mid-distance freshmen are in each of the events below. One name that came up on the top of all but the 1500m list is Moses Brown High School's (RI) Sophia Gorriaran.

The freshmen ran the US No. 8 all-time mark in the 800m posting a 2:03.98 at the Boston University Last Chance meet on February 28th. She also holds the top freshmen class 600m time (1:35.24), 1000m time (2:54.04), and fourth fastest freshmen 1500m time of 4:37.04.

Her times for the season were not only some of the top in her grade but nationally among all grades as well. Her 800m ranked US No.3, her 600m ranked US No. 14, her 1000m ranked US No. 13, and her 1500m ranked US No. 33.
