3. Boys 3200 Meter Run - Last Chance Invitational (AL)
Vestavia Hills (AL) junior Ethan Strand threw down a massive lifetime personal best 9:00.49 at the Last Chance Invitational at the Birmingham Crossplex. His US No. 2 mark was the first of four US Top 12 marks and was only four seconds ahead of Athens Academy (GA)'s Graham Blanks (9:04.92 - US No. 3). Justin Wachtel (9:11.11 - US No. 8) finished third and Andrew Jones (9:13.31 - US No. 12) finished fourth.
