To look at versatility amongst sprinters, we looked at who has the fastest 100m times and who has the fastest 400m times. 

The top combined 100m and 400m athlete in the nation is Miami Norland High School's Tyrese Cooper. Cooper ran a 10.32 in the 100m at the Pepsi Florida Relays and then ran a 46.83 at the Louie Bing Memorial Classic in February.  His combined effort is a 57.15. 

Although Houston Strake Jesuit's Matthew Boling has the fastest FAT wind-legal 100m mark in the nation-- he has run a wind-legal 10.22-- he only has run the 400m once this year and clocked a 47.23.
